Product Expertise
I’m a Senior Product Manager who focuses on building products that actually work in the real world, especially in complex, regulated environments. Most of my work sits at the intersection of business needs, technical systems, and how people actually use the product. I’ve led product efforts across federal government, healthcare, and commercial environments, delivering everything from public-facing platforms to internal enterprise systems. What I’m best at is stepping into messy, unclear situations, figuring out what’s really going wrong, and turning that into a product that makes sense for both the business and the user.
Product Strategy & Ownership
I approach product management as full ownership of the problem and the solution. That means defining product vision and direction, shaping roadmaps, and making clear decisions about priorities based on real business value. I spend a lot of time aligning stakeholders across business and technical teams, making sure we’re not just moving work forward, but actually solving the right problems. I don’t see backlog management as the job. The job is making sure what we build is worth building.
Systems Thinking & Data Governance
A big part of my work is understanding how systems behave over time, especially when data and workflows don’t line up. Many of the issues I’ve solved weren’t surface-level defects. They were the result of missing structure, unclear logic, or gaps in how data moved across systems. I focus heavily on data integrity, governance, and making sure business rules are actually reflected in how the system operates. That’s shown up in things like stabilizing renewal and rating processes, introducing validation and control points, and designing systems that prevent errors instead of constantly reacting to them.
User Experience & Workflow Design
At the same time, I design products for how people actually work, not how we assume they should. I pay close attention to where users get stuck, where they create workarounds, and where the system creates unnecessary friction. From there, I simplify workflows, reduce complexity, and balance usability with whatever business or regulatory constraints exist. In one case, I redesigned a federal data submission process by introducing clear standards and guided workflows. This reduced processing time from months to days and improved adoption across very different types of users.
More recently, I’ve been working on early-stage AI product development, focusing on making AI practical and usable rather than theoretical. My role has been to define real use cases, translate AI capabilities into actual product features, and identify the data requirements and constraints needed to support them. I focus on making sure AI fits into real workflows and supports decision-making, instead of being added as a disconnected feature.

Product Delivery & Agile Leadership
I’ve spent years working in Agile environments, leading teams through delivery while keeping the focus on outcomes. That includes writing and refining epics and user stories, guiding prioritization, removing blockers, and helping teams improve how they work over time. I’m hands-on where it matters, but my goal is always to enable the team to deliver effectively and sustainably.
Stakeholder Leadership & Alignment
I also spend a lot of time working directly with stakeholders, including senior leadership, and I’m comfortable pushing back when needed. A big part of my role is translating between business and technical perspectives, aligning people with different priorities, and challenging assumptions when they’re getting in the way of better outcomes. In several cases, I’ve had to shift stakeholder thinking, especially around data governance and process design, to move the product forward in a meaningful way.
Leadership Philosophy
Across everything I do, the goal is the same. Build products that are clear, usable, and actually solve the problem, especially in environments where complexity makes that difficult.
